Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust is leading the campaign to save open space and protect the valuable natural resources of the Woodbury, Connecticut area. Since its founding in 1963, Flanders has provided exciting educational opportunities for children and adults to learn more about farming, nature, art and the environment. Flanders has also preserved and stewarded more than 2,000 acres of protected green-belt properties, ensuring that woodlands, farm lands, lakes and trails remain open for everyone to appreciate and enjoy.
It is vital that Flanders continues its efforts to preserve the land we all love and continue to open the minds of people of all ages to our natural world. In these times, your monetary and volunteer support are more important than ever. Your involvement allows Flanders to keep working to conserve open spaces, protect important natural resources for future generations and bring high-quality educational programs to more children and adults, throughout the region.
