Directions to the Van Vleck Sanctuary
(including administrative offices, art studio and farm)
The Van Vleck Sanctuary is located at 5 Church Hill Road (at the intersection
of Flanders and Church Hill Roads) in Woodbury.
From Southbury / Woodbury, drive north on Route 6. Pass Route 47 on the
left (Canfield Pharmacy on the corner) and continue another 6/10 of a
mile. Bear left at the fork onto Flanders Road. Proceed just under 3 miles;
the office is a small red farmhouse on the righthand side. Welcome!

Directions to the Whittemore Sanctuary
The Whittemore Sanctuary is located off of Route
64 in Woodbury.
Route 64 begins at the intersection of Route 6 in Woodbury. Proceed East
on 64 (toward Quassy Amusement Park / Middlebury) for approximately 4
miles. The entrance to the Flanders Whittemore Sanctuary
is on the left.
