Since its founding in 1963, Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust has worked to promote the understanding and appreciation of nature through educational programs. Over the years, the nature center has visited thousands of area students to enrich their knowledge of the environment, as well as welcoming countless classes of students to our beautiful grounds in Woodbury, Connecticut. Flanders conducts extensive school and special-interest environmental education programs, including diverse programs for both the young and "young at heart." Our educational offerings encompass three main areas: Farm & Agriculture Nature & Environment These programs take place all year long, on an almost-daily basis, at the nature center and in schools throughout the region. Through flexible and customized programming, Flanders proudly and confidently strives to meet the needs of the communities it serves. Art Programs Farm Programs Nature & Environmental Programs |
