The administrative and educational activities of Flanders are centered at the Van Vleck Farm and Nature Sanctuary. Surrounded by varied natural terrain, including forests, meadows, marshes, ponds and streams, the diverse buildings, including post-and-beam structures, an historic studio and classic Connecticut barns, serve as hubs for the extensive program offerings of the Nature Center.
