Maple Sugaring Volunteer Opportunities
Maple sugaring time, a New England tradition has begun at Flanders with the tapping of over 300 trees here at the Nature Center and around town. Now the work of collecting the sap from the tree buckets and boiling down this sap has begun. We would welcome anyone who is interested in giving a hand with these tasks to contact us to let us know when they are available to help. No experience is needed and all ages and families are welcome to come to help out! Call 203-263-3711 Ext. 10
