Summer Camp Reunion and Family Nature Day Challenge
Open to Flanders’ Summer Campers, Camp Alumni and Families
Celebrate Flanders’ 50th Anniversary at this very special event! Join other Flanders’ families and friends to experience summer camp fun with farming, art and nature. Let our campers be your guides to the Family Nature Day Challenge at the North Barn, Studio and Sugar House. Ride a wagon to different events, participate and have your Passport Reward Card marked to earn awards and prizes. Top it all off with yummy treats at our Ice Cream Social!
1–3 pm Family Nature Day Challenge
North Barn – FARMING
Visit the animals; Farm chore challenge; Farm museum scavenger hunt; “Ag Olympics”
Studio – ART
Paint your family’s portrait; Craft construction; Art show
Sugar House – NATURE
Botany Pond hike to scoop and identify pond life; Name those tracks
3–4 pm Celebrate and Learn More About Flanders’ 50th!
Ice Cream Social
Nature Day Challenge awards; Volunteer recognition
