Annual Meeting 2013
The 2013 Flanders Annual Meeting was held on February 28 at 7 pm at New Morning Natural Market in Woodbury. Flanders’ volunteers, Board and staff exchanged ideas and shared accomplishments, while also saluting the Volunteer of the Year. This year’s keynote speaker was John Pittari, New Morning’s president. For 40 years, John has worked to serve and educate the extended community by offering the highest quality food available and raising awareness on all aspects of sustainability and healthy lifestyles and protecting the environment. In 2013 and far into the future, Flanders and New Morning look forward to collaborating to further their respective missions and goals for furthering environmental education.
